Abstract
Mexilitine is an antiarrhythmic drug with pharmacological properties similar to lignocaine. It is effective against ventricular arrhythmias, both parenterally and orally, and has been used in acute myocardial infarction, in the convalescence following myocardial infarction and in ventricular arrhythmias of different aetiology.
