Many preventable causes of injury were documented. By understanding the contributors of accidental injury, prevention strategies can be implemented. Abstract
In the first year of operation, the Eye Injury Registry of Indiana collected data on 171 severe eye injuries and categorized them according to the circumstances of the injury, severity of tissue disruption and visual function.
