Although Lewy bodies (LB) in idiopathic Parkinson's disease are morphologically similar to BS, they have been reported to differ in their immunoreactivity with antibodies against tau. It has been reported that CC differ from LB with regard to immunoreactivity with antibodies against TH and tropomyosin.
