Abstract
Temporomandibular joint arthroscopy has gained wide interest in recent literature. This article reviews the literature and describes equipment and techniques for diagnostic arthroscopy. Indications for diagnostic arthroscopy together with the possible intra- and postoperative complications are presented based on the authors own results. The diagnostic accuracy of temporomandibular joint arthroscopy is discussed.
