Subfractions of sarcoplasmatic reticulum (SR) obtained from rabbit skeletal muscle display type-1 porin channels in transverse tubuli (TT) when analysed by immunoblot analysis with type-1 porin specific monoclonal antibodies. Abstract
Eucaryotic porin channels or voltage-dependent anion channels (VDACs) are expressed in the outer mitochondrial membranes and in the plasmalemma of mammalian cells.
