Granuloma annulare: response to massive dose therapy of vitamin E combined with pantothenic acid derivatives.

Abstract

PRELIMINARY 1 and supplemental 2 reports have been made on the response to, and rationalization for, the use of massive dose therapy of vitamin E combined with pantothenic acid derivatives in certain phases of lupus erythematosus — a disease in the cutaneous lesions of which "the common denominator is the connective tissue." 3 The present study of results obtained in the treatment of granuloma annulare reports favorable response to similar massive dose therapy in another disease entity characterized by collagenous degeneration.
