Abstract
Plaque psoriasis (psoriasis) is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disorder, with a prevalence of approximately 2% in Europe and North America1 . Psoriasis is classified as mild, moderate and severe2 , while ⁓70-80% of patients suffer from mild disease1 . The European S3 Guidelines recommend the use of vitamin D3 derivatives and steroids combination for the first four weeks as induction therapy2 . An innovative Calcipotriol/Betamethasone (Cal/BD) fixed combination aerosol foam formulation has been developed to enhance adherence in the topical treatment3 . This study aimed to provide real-world data on the effectiveness of Cal/BD aerosol foam in treated patients with at least mild psoriasis.
