Training in counseling and risk communication is desired, as are 'just-in-time' resources to guide clinical decisions.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>PCPs are eager to learn about genetic medicine; however, their priorities may differ in emphasis from those put forward by genetics experts. Abstract
