Acoustic rhinometry is well tolerated among children. The method is rapid, reliable and noninvasive, and minimal cooperation is required. Abstract

Background: Since acoustic rhinometry was described there has been a lack of normal values for minimal cross-sectional area (MCA), especially for children.
