In addition, we conclude by the investigation of the type specimen of <em>P. swingleii</em> and downy mildew specimens on <em>Salvia officinalis</em> that the newly occurring pathogens are not identical to <em>P. swingleii</em> on <em>Salvia reflexa</em>.
