The case of a 27-year-old man who drove his car against a tree is presented. The emergency physician diagnosed a stab to the thorax. A kitchen knife was found on the rear seats of the vehicle. Autopsy revealed death by exsanguination due to perforation of the left cardiac ventricle. Abstract
Complex suicides represent only a small number of all suicides. The case of a 27-year-old man who drove his car against a tree is presented. The emergency physician diagnosed a stab to the thorax.
