Our study found a weak negative correlation between the SLEDAI and the MPV (r=-0.29, p=0.009). There was no correlation between MPV and CRP, ESR, C3 and C4. Abstract

Introduction: The Mean Platelet Volume (MPV) is a platelet activation biomarker that has been recently correlated with disease activity in SLE.
