The goal of this study was to explore the application of Servant Leadership Theory<sup>3</sup> to job satisfaction through globally applicable and transferable leadership behavior. Abstract

Health information management (HIM) professionals are a vital component of a global network of healthcare specialists who assure quality documentation, data governance, analysis of data, and medical coding of vital healthcare statistics.1 These healthcare professionals make up a globally diverse community2 which demands leaders with globally transferable leadership skills. The goal of this study was to explore the application of Servant Leadership Theory3 to job satisfaction through globally applicable and transferable leadership behavior.
