Enhanced techniques in noncontrast computed tomography followed by computed tomography and magnetic resonance perfusion imaging led to the expansion of treatment eligibility for intravenous thrombolysis. Abstract

Abstract: Intravenous thrombolysis is the cornerstone of acute ischemic stroke treatment.
