We report a case of brucella peritonitis successfully treated with intraperitoneal administration of amikacin, along with oral rifampicin and doxycycline but without catheter removal. Abstract
Isolated case reports of peritonitis due to Brucella spp. during peritoneal dialysis (PD) continue to surface in the medical literature.
