Vapor pressure measurements were obtained from solvents and viscosity and gloss measurements from varnish formulations. Abstract

Varnishes consist basically of a resin and solvent. Aromatic solvents are widely used for varnish formulations, but they present considerable toxicity which requires their replacement.
