Abstract
OBJECTIVES Diagnosis and management of blunt aortic isthmus rupture have improved the last 20 years. Compared to surgical repair, endovascular repair is associated with lower postoperative mortality and ischemic spinal cord injury rates. Delayed treatment is accepted.
