Abstract
. Focusing-defocusing mixed coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation of localised waves in a two-mode nonlinear fiber is investigated. Novel localised wave solutions are constructed by employing the Darboux-dressing transformation. The set of such solutions includes rogue waves on the soliton background.
