Quantification and health risk assessment of nitrate in southern districts of Tehran, Iran

In all districts, the HQ values for infants and children groups were greater than 1, indicating potential adverse health risks. In teenagers age group, only the HQ estimations of districts 10 (HQ = 0.93) and 11 (HQ = 0.74) were lower than 1 and in adults age group, the estimated HQ values for districts were lower than 1 with the exception for district 19 (HQ = 1.19).
