Abstract
This paper considered government replacement-subsidy policy to examine the channel selection of the automotive parts remanufacturer and we constructed two channel models in which the automotive parts remanufacturer may choose the supplier mode or competitor mode. Due to the relatively low acceptance of remanufactured automotive parts in developing countries such as China, we model the two scenarios with government offering replacement-subsidy to the remanufacturer to incentivise automotive parts remanufacturing activities. Then, we discuss the impacts of the replacement-subsidy policy on the strategy of channel selection by applying a game theory method. We find that the scope of the automotive parts remanufacturer's net cost is quite vital, which is decided by the government replacement price, subsidy and costs of the remanufacturer. The subsidy and replacement price to customers have an affirmative influence on the protection of the environment within a specific range. Accounts of Chemical Research presents short, concise and critical articles offering easy-to-read overviews of basic research and applications in all areas of chemistry and biochemistry. These short reviews focus on research from the author’s own laboratory and are designed to teach the reader about a research project. In addition, Accounts of Chemical Research publishes commentaries that give an informed opinion on a current research problem. Special Issues online are devoted to a single topic of unusual activity and significance.
Accounts of Chemical Research replaces the traditional article abstract with an article "Conspectus." These entries synopsize the research affording the reader a closer look at the content and significance of an article. Through this provision of a more detailed description of the article contents, the Conspectus enhances the article's discoverability by search engines and the exposure for the research.
