Abstract
A newer atypical antipsychotic molecule, cariprazine has been approved by Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar depression. The use of atypical antipsychotics has been the primary mode of intervention in the management of psychotic disorder in adolescents, adults, and geriatric population.
