Abstract
Buchanania abrahamiana E.S.S. Kumar & Shareef sp. nova (Anacardiaceae) is described from Kerala, SW India. It resembles B. barberi and B. lanzan, but diffres from them by characters of the twigs, leaves, flowers and seeds. An identification key to the species of Buchanania in India is provided.
