Evolución e impacto territorial del TRAM Metropolitano en la provincia de Alicante

Abstract

Nowadays more than ten million passengers move in the province of Alicante thanks to the railway infrastructure there located, that has been capable of generating a great communication between both ends of the province, as well as also from the Alicante capital towards his metropolitan area. After the analysis realized to the historical precedents and to the diverse existing and future lines of the Metropolitan TRAM, besides his location and the factors that influence the development of the infrastructure, there is exposed, in the same context, the territorial and environmental impact that generates this type of public transport.
