Abstract
EnglishIn this article, we intend to prove that in the Modern Chinese there is an auxiliary DE which plays the role as preterit and future tag. Based on a compiled corpus we have analyzed its function. Furthermore, we have to come to realize that the translation from Chinese into inflected languages maybe useful when observing grammatical aspects in this language.
