Abstract

Abstract:J.K. Rowling's The Tales of Beedle the Bard (2008) uses paratext to align Harry Potter's Wizarding world with the extradiegtetic readers' world. Doing so may aim at extending the novels' theme of connection, but it complicates that theme by emphasizing readers' status as marginalized from the magical realm.

摘要:J.K.
