The fertilization of seedlings showed to be essential in the production of more vigorous and better quality plants. The best quality C. citriodora seedlings was produced in the commercial substrate. Abstract

The efficiency of forest species production is associated with the seedlings quality. Hence, the substrate used is a determining factor in crop productivity, such as eucalyptus.
