Abstract

En el siguiente articulo se hace una revision del contexto en relacion con la situacion social y epidemiologica de la cronicidad. Las politicas que se estan desarrollando para afrontar esta realidad planteada por la Organizacion Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y Organizacion Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) con el proyecto CARMEN (Conjunto de acciones para la intervencion Multifactorial de Enfermedades no transmisibles), en Colombia la Secretaria Distrital de Salud para el distrito capital y la red municipal en el Norte de Santander. Esta situacion invita al profesional de enfermeria a direccionar nuevas estrategias a nivel formativo y de atencion que estan acordes con nuestra realidad. SUMMARY In the following article a revision of the context of the social and epidemic situation of the ch ronicity is made. The politicians that are developing to confront this reality outlined by the OMS and OPS with the proiect CARMEN (Group of actions for the intervention Multifactorial of non transferable Illnesses), in Colombia the Secretary Distrital of Health for the capital district and the municipal net in the North of Santander. This situation invites the infirmary professional to address new strategies at formative level and of attention that you/they are in agreement with our reality.
