Effect of Ozone on Oxygen Transport and Pro-Oxidant- Antioxidant Balance of Red Blood Cell Suspension

Parameters of blood oxygen transport and pro-oxidant-antioxidant balance were determined. Results: The effect of ozone on blood oxygen transport was found which was manifested in an increase in oxygen partial pressure and the degree of oxygenation. The index of hemoglobin –oxygen affinity p50 actual was raised and a shift of the oxyhemoglobin dissociation curve rightwards was noticed.
