The survey received 413 responses and investigated topics including most encountered research tasks, use of research tools, most experienced feelings, self-rated research competencies, perceived research importance, interest to learn more, research scenarios, challenges, preferred learning settings and learning modes, motivational factors, the time commitment for learning, and preferred quality of a learning module. Abstract
