The OSL properties of quartz separated from surface soil of different parts of India were investigated for its application as a retrospective dosimeter. Different parameters such as recuperation, recycling ratio, equivalent dose plateau, and relevant to single-aliquot regenerative protocol were investigated. The dose recovery tests were also performed.
