Perspectiva de género en la literatura de la Shoá: una escritura transgeneracional

Abstract

From the 80s to the present, gender studies have examined the role Jewish women have had during the Nazi genocide. The aim of this article is to highlight the controversy raised within gender and Holocaust studies while analyzing the Holocaust literature from this perspective. In order to do this, it is important to focus on the narrative works belonging to the first generation of the memory of the Holocaust as well as on the narrative works belonging to the second generation after the memory of the Holocaust, and giving answers to the fundamental question. Can the Holocaust transgenerational literature be studied from a gender perspective?
