Abstract
The traumatic asphyxia or Perthes syndrome is uncommon. It is a clinical syndrome associating an ecchymotic mask consisting of cervicofacial cyanosis, petechiae and subconjunctival hemorrhage to neurological and ocu¬lar symptoms.
