The results from statistical analysis have showed that increasing the gap between the cylinder and flat setting and increasing the taker-in speed increased yarn unevenness and increasing cylinder speed, flat speed, and taker-in speed increased total yarn imperfection significantly. Abstract

Yarn tensile properties, unevenness, and irregularities are the most important properties of the yarn quality parameters that determine the fabric’s mechanical properties and appearance.
