Abstract

The new Espartxo Bridge, currently under its final stages of construction, will substitute the deteriorated Espartxo Zubia, just 6.60 m wide and with low clearance (6 m) which could cause hydraulic problems in case of flood. The construction of the bridge forms part of the LM.06 Txomin-Enea new urban development, promoted by San Sebastian City Council, whose objective is modernizing and providing new uses to this area.
