Results The social functioning and life-related domains associated with cognitive frailty were the Makizako-5 [OR: 0.25 (95%CI: 0.07–0.95)], and oral functioning [4.72 (1.03–21.56)] items. In particular, the characteristics revealed included less frequent visits to friends’ homes (p = 0.035), lower sense of self-usefulness (p = 0.011), and dry mouth (p = 0.011).
