Reviving the Folklores of Jammu And Kashmir for Promoting Peace in the Region

Abstract

Our long-standing cultural history includes folklore in its entirety. It is how we as a people and culture are recognized and identified. Folklore was once the most significant source of information and enjoyment. Additionally, it is a means of transferring knowledge from one generation to the next. It is very beneficial for instilling values because most stories, songs, and sayings are filled with counsel, sagacity, and knowledge. In this study, an attempt is being made to revive the folklore of Jammu and Kashmir to promote peace in the region.
