Catálogo de ejemplares tipo del Herbario CODAGEM (México)

Abstract

Type materials were analyzed in the CODAGEM herbarium. As a result, 38 specimens were registered, which represent the nomenclatural types of 36 species names, a variety and a form of plants belonging to angiosperms and a fern. The following data are indicated for each taxon: scientific name, author (s), basinonyms (if applicable), journal where the specimen was cited or the species was described, country, state, municipality (where appropriate), locality, habitat, altitude where it was collected, date of collection, collector (s) and collection number; in addition to the class of the corresponding nomenclatural type. 37 isotypes, a holotype and a lectotype were detected. The Bromeliaceae and Dioscoreaceae families stand out. Most of the type specimens in the CODAGEM herbarium were identified prior to this work, but the review of the collection allowed us to find two new types: in Acanthaceae an isotype of Justicia matudae T. F. Daniel and in Asparagaceae a lectotype of Manfreda malinaltenangensis Matuda. Kew word: CODAGEM herbarium, Estado de Mexico, nomenclatural types.
