Abstract
This article aims to confront the text “Dois poetas”, of 1948, written by Gilda de Mello e Souza, published in the Revista Brasileira de Poesia, with the “Introducao” of Estrela da vida inteira, of 1965, written by Gilda de Mello e Souza herself and Antonio Candido.
