Methodologically, it was located in the social critical paradigm with a qualitative approach and the Action Research method developed in three phases: design, applicability, and evaluation of effectiveness applied to 18 students between 9 and 11 years old. The results indicated that reading comprehension, motivation, and interest in critical reading were strengthened through proverbs, having technologies as a foundation. Abstract
