The research method used in this research is the micro ethnographic method with qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Abstract

Oral traditions in Tasikmalaya Regency are classified into types of fairy tales, legends, and myths. The three types of oral traditions are spread in 39 sub-districts in Tasikmalaya Regency.
