Abstract

Diet is vital for survival whereas balanced diet and nutrition are crucial for healthy living. Dietary agents, such as fruits, vegetables, and spices; are consumed in daily meals. Dietary agents are available and affordable all over the world which makes them suitable candidate for preventing diabetic complications. The scientific validation for their health-related benefits and anti-diabetic potential; mainly, is a big trumpet for their usefulness in indigenous cultures all around the world.
