The statistical methods are correlation analysis, factor analysis, Kaiser–Meyer–Olkin test and cross-table analysis. The results of the study show that there is no statistically significant relationship between disaster risk perception and multiple deprivation; however, cross-table analysis revealed a relationship between risk perception and deprivation. The study identified the hot spots of hazard risks and deprivation in Rangpur city.
