El estudio fue concebido teorica y metodologicamente desde la perspectiva de la Investigacion Basada en las Artes - IBA, implementando la experimentacion con artes como metodo para articular la teoria con los procesos de comprension y creacion. Esto deribo en un proyecto de creacion en el marco de una residencia artistica, en el cual se materializaron las comprensiones en torno a la gestualidad corporal, a traves de diversas expresiones esteticas contemporaneas, otorgando a los gestos voces que les permitan ser concebidos por fuera de los sentidos didacticos que tradicionalmente la pedagogia les ha asignado. EnglishThe current article is derived from the research Education and Gestures: An Approach to the Performance of Teachers in the Classroom Setting; which was interested in understanding the gestural choreography of teachers' hands as performative, educational and aesthetic actions. The study was conceived theoretically and methodologically from the perspective of Art Based Research, and took great interest in using Art as a method to bound theoretic comprehension and creation. As a result of the research, an artistic body of work was produced within the framework of an artist residency.
