Moreover, Dendrolaelaps brevipiloides Hirschmann & Wiśniewski 1982, D. latior, D. markewitschi, D. paradoxa, D. punctatulus, D. saprophilus and D. stammeriformis Hirschmann and Wiśniewski, 1982 are new species records for Iran. A checklist and a key for identification of the subgenera and species of Dendrolaelaps in Iran is also provided.
