The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students in the subjects of relations and functions. Qualitative research with descriptive method is used in this study. The subjects in this study consisted of 6 students, namely 2 students in the high category, 2 students in the medium category, and 2 students in the low category. The data collection technique was obtained from a description of 5 questions with a processing time of 60 minutes which was used as a test instrument. The results showed that the mathematical critical thinking skills possessed by some students were still relatively low.
