This study aims to determine how the role of EDP in the thinking process student’s engineers through student worksheets as teaching materials. This type of research is qualitative using a single case study method. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Test using triangulation technique and member check. The results of this study show that each student’s engineering thinking profile is different. The data obtained shows that students can solve problems to provide design solutions to the EDP syntax. Students provide solutions to problems that occur in the EDP syntax in the scope of the problem, namely the definition and learn stages. Abstract
