The public school traditionally plays a central role in the transmission of republican values, with which religious separatism is in contradiction. It is therefore not surprising that in the fight against religious separatism that it intends to carry out, the law of 24 August 2021, targets educational institutions that are characterized by a high degree of pedagogical freedom and therefore likely not to fully pursue such an objective. The result is a marginalization of home schooling and a hardening of the regime of private schools without a contract with the State. telle
