Abstract
Enzymes, nonenzymatic total antioxidant capacity and reactive oxygen species-induced modifications on lipids, DNA and proteins are usually used to evaluate oxidative stress (OS) in humans. Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) has been suggested as a new OS marker.
