英语和巴西葡萄牙语中长被动语态的限制：基于阶段的解释

为了解释巴西葡萄牙语和英语中致使动词/感知动词长被动化的看似特殊的限制，我们表明:(i)当致使动词/感知动词的补语构成voiceP/progP阶段时，长被动态被阻塞;(ii) TP补体和VP补体都有利于长时间钝化。为了解释这些模式，我们提出由于乔姆斯基(2001)(第二)相位不可穿透条件，运动只能穿过单个相位头，并且不能使用相位边缘逃生口，但是T的EPP特征用于将a运动输入矩阵子句。本质上，只有在嵌入T的情况下，才有可能实现连续的循环a运动。
