Abstract
Statewide P–12 per-pupil cost averages for 2012–13 were $11,037.85 per average daily membership and $11,582.44 per average daily attendance (NDE 2014, website). The percentage of state budget for P–12 education was approximately 37% for 2012–13 (State of Nebraska (a) 2013, p. 27).
